The Goldcorp project Éléonore is located in the James Bay region, bordering the Opinaca reservoir. Our mandate consists of building 25 bolted/welded tanks with walkways and shelters, as well as stirring systems (transmission cases and agitators) for 12 lixiviation tanks. The tanks are located both indoors and outdoors with dimensions varying between 3.8 m and 18 m in diameter.

Our mandate consists of erecting a steel structure, installing its exterior coating (including the roof), installing the doors and windows of the new crushing and milling buildings, the existing crushing building’s extension and the two new ore transfer towers. Our mandate was expanded with the installation of a new ball mill (15’ in diameter and 20’ in length).

Alberta

The Horizon site features an open-pit mine and a bitumen extraction plant designed to mine the oil sands and separate the raw bitumen from the sand before it is upgraded. The upgrading facility uses delayed coking and hydrotreating to produce “upgraded” or “synthetic” crude oil. Work in progress: Construction of the sulphur recovery unit (SRU) and the delayed coking unit (DCU).
